PATRIMONIO CULTURAL: Acequia de Aynadamar • Palacio del Cuzco • Iglesia Parroquial A través del término de Víznar discurre la Acequia de Aynadamar, monumento de interés cultural y patrimonial de la época andalusí. Sus orígenes se remontan al siglo XI. Fruto de su amable clima y al amparo de las aguas abundantes de Aynadamar, se construyó a finales del s XVIII el espléndido conjunto, famoso por su jardinería y sus pinturas, conocido como el Palacio del Cuzco. Fiestas Festividad cultural San Blas • Rosario de la Aurora • Semana Cultural El Patrón de la población es San Blas al que se le atribuye la facultad de intervenir en las enfermedades de la garganta. Esta fiesta se celebra en día 3 de febrero aunque requiere algunos prolegómenos, ya que hay que preparar las llamadas "roscas de San Blas". Se cuecen una semana antes en algún horno del pueblo y se caracterizan por no llevar apenas levadura. Víznar se encuentra en la provincia de Granada, a 6 km de la capital. Pertenece a la Comarca de la Vega. Actualmente censa 749 habitantes de hecho y 818 de derecho. Nace a raíz de la conducción de las aguas de la Fuente de Aynadamar al Albaicín Granadino. Este hecho se remonta a la Dinastía Zirí (1013-1090).
